Paper, Design, and Planning Biennial Conference

An event planner for a biennial conference, Paper, Design, and Planning works to get like-minded individuals together in the same room and get creative. This mailer was designed to get recipients interested in this event and get them registered to attend. Created for The Movable Book Society’s biennial conference, this event planner is about paper engineering of all types and would feature some very noteworthy paper engineers like Isabel Uria, Yoojin Kim, Felix Semper, and Robert Lang.

When creating the design for it, I strived to make it look minimal and focused on including colored, dotted, and whole lines that insinuate cut and fold lines. This event planner has many interesting aspects to it like dye cuts and photos that open up to reveal biographies and was designed to create a physical experience with the paper.
